Workshop with David Schwartz and Sara Moore!

Join us on October 20th, 2014 and Participate in “Hopping Frogs, Distant Stars and Popcorn by the Millions: Connecting Math and Literature through Manipulatives” with David Schwartz. David is the author of “How Much is a Million?”, “If You Made a Million?”, “If Dogs Were Dinosaurs,” and over 40 other books. Not only will David be presenting this workshop, he will also be speaking as our Keynote on the following day for our 18th Annual Mathematics Day Conference!                                                                                               In addition to hearing from David Schwartz, Sara Moore will also be assisting in discussions and demonstrations throughout the workshop. Join us October 21st for: The 18th Annual Mathematics Day Conference

This year our grade level focus will be K – 3.  Additional sessions will be offered that focus on: 4-5, and 6-8mathematics material. This year the content focus will be on Developing, Fostering, and maintaining students Number and Number Sense. We will also have several sessions on working with the struggling learner.
